About Amy and Gil
Amy and Gil Selders have been active in the Disability Rights Movement for 20 and 40 years respectively. The both have multiple disabilities and are proud of their community. Amy incurred a head injury at 5 years old which resulted in epilepsy. Later she was diagnosed with lupus, and sjogrens syndrome. Today she's a scooter user. Together they enjoy the creative process that is involved with quilt making, however, Gil is an artist and creates his own beautiful pieces.
