More Quilt Squares Page Three
Amy's Threads celebrated
the holidays (2003-2006) by creating greeting cards and calendars that benefited organizations in our community. Below
are some of our quilt squares from those years.

"Justin's Star" Justin's
Star is a part of a larger quilt but was request as a card by a few CILs.

"Believe
in Our Kids" This square was used as our christmas card in 2005. The Service dog model
was our very own dog Murphy who died in 2009. Gil was creator of Murphy the service dog for this quilt square: I think
he did an awesome job. The youth in the YIELD the POWER Project at Access Living in Chicago were the inspiration for
the characters in this square.

"PEACE, LOVE, MiCASSA" This
square was used for our first ever holiday card. My wish for the disability community is now and has been "Peace,
Love and MiCASSA.'

"Gift Boy" A
CIL contacted me about using one of our images for a Christmas card. The kicker was most of my squares was most of my
square seemed too "serious" and they wanted something more "christmasy." Gil made "Gift Boy"
as a joke but they really liked it and wanted it for their card. This will be our last foray into pandering commercialism!
